Oreganos Café in Reservoir needed custom café uniforms that suited its relaxed style. My Promo Shop produced cotton T-shirts and jumpers with the café’s logo, using DTF printing to carry the same identity across its everyday and cooler-weather layers.
The finished black T-shirt pairs a white Oreganos wordmark with the smaller “Middle Eats Cafe” line beneath it. It is a straightforward approach to hospitality workwear: a familiar garment, a clear logo and a design that feels at home behind the counter.
One café identity across T-shirts and jumpers
A café uniform needs to work as an outfit, not just a place to put a logo. For Oreganos, T-shirts provided the everyday starting point, with jumpers adding another layer for Melbourne’s changing weather. Keeping the branding consistent meant the pieces could be worn together.
If you are planning a similar set, start with your team’s preferred fit and the conditions in your venue. Compare the garment’s size chart and fabric details before deciding. Our custom T-shirts and singlets collection is a useful place to shortlist everyday tops; branded hoodies and fleece can help you plan the extra layer.
A simple logo with room to breathe
The Oreganos design shows how a single-colour logo can hold its own on a dark garment. The larger wordmark is the focal point, while the smaller line adds context without competing with it. The space around the artwork keeps the chest print easy to read.
For your own hospitality uniforms, review the full design at its intended print size. Small lettering, fine lines and the contrast between the logo and garment colour all deserve a closer look before you approve the artwork.
DTF printing for the finished design
This project used direct-to-film, or DTF, printing. The design is printed onto a transfer film and heat-applied to a suitable garment. Our embroidery and logo decoration guide explains the available methods and the details to check when choosing between print and embroidery.
The right method depends on the garment, artwork, placement and quantity. Check the available decoration options and minimum quantity for your chosen product.
Plan your café’s next uniform
Bring together your logo file, preferred garment colours, size quantities and required date. If you want both T-shirts and a warmer layer, include them in the same enquiry so the artwork can be reviewed across the set.
