If your business doesn’t have a logo yet — or you already have one but it never looks quite right when printed on uniforms.
It’s a very common situation.
Logos often look perfect on a computer screen yet appear blurry, too thin, too light, or completely different once printed on fabric.
The reason is simple:
Different decoration methods have different technical requirements.
To help you get the best results on your custom workwear, uniforms, hi-vis clothing, and team apparel, this guide explains how to prepare a logo that prints beautifully — with no stress, no guesswork, and no wasted time.
Digital Print (DTF / heat transfer) is the most popular decoration method for custom uniforms in Australia.
On our website, all products with “free logo print” use this method.
- Supports multi-colour and gradient artwork
- Sharp, vibrant colours
- High detail clarity
- Works on tees, polos, hoodies, hi-vis and more
However, to achieve the best result on fabric, consider the following:
Fabric has texture, so tiny details can disappear or blend into the garment. We will automatically optimise your logo by:
- Adding stroke (outline) in a colour close to the garment
- Slightly increasing line thickness
- Adjusting spacing or boldness
All adjustments will be shown on your mockup, and we only print after you approve it.
Digital print requires a solid backing layer (adhesive film). Glow or transparent gradient edges may:
- Become patchy
- Show the glue layer underneath
If your logo includes these, we’ll recommend:
- A solid colour alternative
- A background shape
- Stronger contrast or simplified gradient
This ensures your logo prints cleanly and looks professional.
Embroidery gives a high-end and textured finish, but it has physical limitations.
Because embroidery is created with thread, very fine lines can blur or merge.
Recommended:
- Minimum text height: 5–7 mm
- Simplified version for complex logos
Different Logo design have different prices. More stitches mean more time and higher cost. But the Embroidery setup fee is one-off. You only pay it the first time for that specific logo.
Screen printing is ideal for Large uniform orders. It's very durable and cost-effective for bulk orders。
But keep in mind:
Screen printing is charged per colour. And screen setup is required every time you reorder. If your logo has 4 colours, it requires 4 screens — so costs increase.
Many small businesses, tradies and startups don’t have a formal logo yet.
That’s perfectly okay!
